Expected changes in Alabama’s immigration law still keep all the main restrictions and adds a tough measure.
Alabama has the nation’s toughest law against undocumented immigrants. Last night the legislature approved changes to the law - but it added an even harsher provision. Alabama courts are now required to publicly list the names of undocumented immigrants who appear in court, no matter what the legal outcome of the case is. Governor Robert Bentley is reviewing the changes before signing it into law.
